A little bit about me
Hello! My name is Kellie and I am the owner of Posy Jade Boutique Florals. I have always felt a need to express my artistic side, and I am excited to fulfill my dream of running my own floral boutique. I started this business out of my dining room in 2017 while I was planning my wedding. I made a few arrangements for my wedding and then had several friends ask me to make theirs. Well, it all exploded from there!
I am married with two children and two mischievous Golden Retrievers. My family and I reside in Winchester, Virginia, and love our town. I am a firm believer in chasing your dreams and instill that in my beautiful and sassy daughter, Autumn Jade, after whom I named this boutique.
I have a passion for wood flowers, I was drawn to their unique beauty, and the fact that they last forever! No more throwing away your wedding bouquet or prom corsage, now they can be a keepsake forever. I hand mix all my paints so I can color match any shade you would like. I am also flexible on design, flowers, etc.. If you can dream it, I can make it. Most of my work is custom work uniquely handmade for my client. A little bit about wood flowers
If you are new to wood flowers, here is a little information:
Sola flowers are handmade from soft balsa wood. In their raw state, sola flowers are beautiful ivory cream color. I know you may be thinking, "Wood? Really...?" Yes! Even though these flowers are made of wood, they are soft and look so natural. Since each flower is handmade, no two flowers are exactly the same which makes them unique and completely customizable in color, shape, size, etc. With the right care, wood flowers will last a lifetime.
Please do not allow prolonged contact with any liquids, handle them carefully, and keep away from flame. They are best kept in a cool, dry place. All fillers I use are dried, preserved, and/or artificial which can include caspia, baby's breath, boxwood, eucalyptus, etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at posyjade@gmail.com.
